Show them how much you love them with a platter of hearts filled with cheese and salami roses!

Directions

  1. To make the cheese-shaped hearts, remove plastic from the wedges. Cut cheese away from the rind, keeping the rind in-tact. Cube the cheese using the point of a chef’s knife, to make rustic, uneven cubes. Place the wedges together, bringing the bottom points to meet. Fill the heart shape with the cubes of cheese.

  2. To make salami roses: Use round, thinly sliced salami. To form the roses, use a portion cup, champagne glass or flute, or a small jam jar. Lay a slice of salami half inside and half outside of the glass. Layer the next slice of salami over the first, in a shingle style. Continue layering slices until the center fills and no more salami slices can be added. Turn the glass over and gently twist and remove it from your salami rose.

  3. Fill out the cheeseboard creating a large heart shape with the pairings. Insert edible flowers throughout.
