  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.  Place ¼ cup Beemster on cut sides of English muffins.  Arrange on baking sheet and toast until Beemster is melted.
  2. Grill or broil burgers to desired doneness. Arrange burgers on the bottom half of muffins; top with bacon, fried egg, and top half of English muffin.  Serve with ketchup or hot sauce.


  • 2 cups Beemster Vlaskaas, shredded 
  • 4 English muffins, split and lightly toasted 
  • 4 hamburger patties
  • 8 slices cooked bacon
  • 4 large eggs, fried
