The stars of Italian cuisine come together in this mouthwatering sandwich! Mangiamo!

Directions

  1. Place slices of bread on a cutting board and spread one side with butter.

  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add bread, butter side down.

  3. Spread half of the Paradiso Reserve over bread evenly and top with 2 slices of salami each. Dollop pesto over salami and top with roasted tomatoes. Add remaining cheese over tomatoes and top with second slice of bread, butter side up.

  4. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown. Flip sandwich and cook until cheese is completely melted, about 2-3 minutes.  Serve immediately.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices good Italian bread, sliced ½-inch thick

  • 2 Tbsp butter

  • 5 oz (140 g) Paradiso Reserve 10M, grated

  • 4 slices salami

  • 2 Tbsp prepared pesto

  • ¼ cup (60 g) roasted tomatoes (about 6-8 pieces)
