Make this party starter with a mix of sweet & spicy peppers!

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a bowl, mix together ½ cup Beemster Leyden, cream cheese, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Arrange the peppers on a foil-lined baking sheet and stuff with cream cheese mixture. Top peppers with remaining ½ cup Beemster Leyden.

  4. Bake until golden brown and cheese is bubbling, 20–25 min.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (100g) shredded Beemster Leyden

  • 1 8-oz (230g) pkg cream cheese, softened

  • ½ tsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 6 jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeded

  • 6 sweet mini bell peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded

 

Serve these peppers with a selection of additional toppings, such as avocado, salsa, diced tomatoes, pickled onions and chopped chives.
