Peaches not in season? Replace fresh peaches with 1½ tablespoons peach jam per sandwich for an equally delicious and ooey-gooey grilled cheese.


  1. Spread the butter evenly on one side of each slice ofbread. Top 4 slices of bread, butter sides down, with the peach, cheese, and arugula. Top with remaining bread, butter sides up.

  2. Heat a large skillet on medium-high heat. Cook the grilled cheeses for 3 min. and flip. Cover and cook until cheese is melted, 3–4 min.


  • 4 tbsp butter, softened

  • 8 slices whole wheat bread

  • 1 peach, thinly sliced

  • 8 oz (230g) Beemster Graskaas, grated

  • 1 cup (25g) arugula 

Tip: Grated cheese melts faster & more evenly.
