Royaal Grand Cru, Aged 12 Months

PDO North Holland Gouda. World Cheese Championship Contest Gold and World Top 20 Cheese winner. World Cheese Awards Gold and Super Gold winner. Aged 12 months. Firm texture with some crystallization and a rich and regal flavor.

Pairs with:

Craft beers (IPA and Pilsner alike), full-bodied red wines (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon), white wines (Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc) and cider Fennel salami, ham, apples, grapes, dried cranberries, walnuts and jam. Serve with fruit-nut bread or crisps.

Revered for its rich flavors of butterscotch, whiskey, and pecan, Beemster X-O has a deep ocher interior.

Pairs with:

Dark beer. Olives, fig cake, spicy honey roasted nuts and honeycomb.

Beemster Classic cheese is aged eighteen months to give you even more of the signature nutty and butter-rich flavor profile

Hoppy, bitter craft beers and Malbec or full-bodied whites. Smoked almonds, dates or fig spread.

Paradiso Reserve

An Italian-style cheese, made from rich, North Holland cow's milk, so it's creamy and sweet. 

Pairs with:

Chianti and Primitivo wine or pale ales. Baked pasta, chicken parm, ham, salami & turkey.

Paradiso Vintage

Inspired by Italy and made in Holland, Paradiso Vintage is bold and sharp with mouthwatering flavor. 

Pairs with:

Pinot grigio, Chianti, Zinfandel, amber/farmhouse ale Perfect for pairing with antipasti and salami! Serve with olives, artichoke hearts and pepperoncini or grill with roasted tomatoes on ciabatta. Grate atop simple cheese & cracked pepper pasta (similar to cacio e pepe).

Mellow

Young and mild, these smooth, soft to semi-soft cheeses showcase the rich, sweet milk produced by Beemster cows and goats.

Pairs with:

Light bodied reds, such as Beaujolais, Pinot Noir. Delicate white wines like Pinot Gris, dry Riesling, Chablis. Crisp beers, such as Pilsner and blonde ales. Grapes, apples, strawberries. Dried cherries, apricots, figs, ginger. Ham, salami. Excellent in egg dishes, on sandwiches (especially grilled cheese!) and in gratins.

Swiss

An alpine style cheese made in Holland by the master cheesemakers at Beemster.

Pairs with:

Lighter reds (Cabernet Franc). Crisp and floral whites (Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer). Champagne or prosecco. Crisp lagers or blonde ales. Apples, grapes, pears, ham.

Farmers' Choice

The most consumed cheese in the Netherlands! It’s a perfect introduction to Gouda-style cheeses for the newbie.

Pairs with:

Red or white wine. Mild meats, like turkey, to stronger sandwich pairings, like soppressata.

Mild

Young, creamy, and as its name suggests, mild in flavor. An excellent showcase for the rich sweetness of Beemster milk.

Pairs with:

Pilsner. Green apples, ham and mustard on a sandwich, sweet fruits, like strawberry, melon and kiwi.

Vlaskaas

Historically made once a year to celebrate the flax harvest. A review of historic recipes brought it back and we thought it was just too good to only make once a year!

Pairs with:

Session ale, mineral-y white wine. Apples, fresh figs, walnuts and artisan salami.

Slimkaas

Made from 2% Milk from Beemster cows. Though lower in fat and calories, this cheese still delivers on flavor and satisfaction! 

Pairs with:

Hefeweizen, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir. Sweet-tart apples, red grapes, apricot and peaches.

Goat

Beemster Goat is not a soft, fresh chevre. Instead, this is a semi-firm, aged Goat Gouda. Mild, sweet & refreshing.

Pairs with:

Crisp white wines and pale lagers. Wildflower honey, crushed cashews and melt atop whole wheat bread.

Mild, creamy Gouda is infused with the fragrance and flavor of ingredients ranging from chiles and garlic to pumpkin spice and hickory smoke.

Pumpkin Spice

Truffle

Rich, creamy, nutty Beemster Gouda with authentic truffles. Earthy & nutty.

Hatch Pepper

Smooth, creamy, young Beemster, made with Certified Hatch Valley chiles.

Pairs with:

White wines and beers known for citrus notes. Melt and add to beans & rice, tacos, nachos and fajitas.

Graskaas

We use our cow's first spring milk to make this limited-edition cheese, and it’s the creamiest cheese of the year.

Pairs with:

Rosé wines. Serve diced atop asparagus or mixed into peas.

Smoked

Our young Beemster is naturally slow-smoked over hickory wood in the USA to create this exceptional take on smoked Gouda.

Pairs with:

Zinfandel or Chianti. Pasta with broccoli rabe and spicy sausage.

Mustard Seed

Studded with mustard seeds throughout, this cheese is made with our creamy and soft Beemster cheese.

Pairs with:

Pinot Grigio and German beers. Ham & cheese sandwiches or melted over cauliflower.

Leyden

A traditional Dutch cheese inspired centuries ago by the exotic spice trade, it’s made with cumin that imparts a fragrant aroma.

Pairs with:

Syrah, Riesling, bright and citrusy cocktails, and with full-bodied beers. Veggie burgers, serve with rustic, hearty bread and pickled vegetables.

Garlic

Our garlic-infused Gouda is fragrant and intense yet sweet and subtle all in one bite! 

Pairs with:

Floral white wines, bock style beers and soft reds. Try atop burgers and grilled sausages.
