Paradiso Vintage is baked into these classic waffles for a special pop of cheesy crunch.

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (200℃). Cook chicken tenders according to package directions.

  2. Preheat waffle iron. In a large bowl, mix together waffle mix, egg, milk, and vegetable oil until completely combined.

  3. Spray waffle iron liberally with cooking spray. Add ½ cup waffle mix. Top with ½ cup shredded Paradiso Vintage. Close the waffle iron and cook until no more steam is released from the waffle iron, about 5 min. Remove the waffle and repeat with remaining waffle batter and cheese.

  4. If using spicy maple syrup, mix together maple syrup and cayenne pepper.

  5. Top each waffle with 2 chicken tenders and 2 tbsp spicy maple syrup. Garnish with remaining ½ cup shredded Paradiso Vintage and scallions.

  • 1⅓ cups (320ml) whole milk

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 2½ cups (250g) shredded Paradiso Vintage

  • ½ cup maple syrup

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

  • 2 tbsp sliced scallions
