Directions

  1. Cook bacon in large skillet over medium-low heat, 6 minutes or until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet.
  2. In bacon drippings, cook onion over medium heat 4 minutes or until tender.
  3. Stir in tomato and cook 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in shrimp and cook 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in flour and paprika and cook 1 minute.
  6. Stir in stock and bacon and bring to a boil over high heat.
  7. Reduce heat to low and simmer 2 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened.
  8. Stir in Beemster Cheeses.

  • 1 cup quick-cooking grits
  • 3 green onions, chopped
